Video Analytics
The Global Cortex system supports the cameras’ built-in video analytics capabilities, which helps reduce the consumption of computing resources for the analysis on the server.
How does it work
The Global Cortex system supports the following video analytics for integrated cameras:
- High temperature detection (receive alarms from thermal cameras) in integrated cameras (Hikvision, Dahua, Mobotix and FLIR).
- Cross line detection on built-in cameras (Hikvision)
- License plate recognition on built-in cameras (Hikvision)
Achievements
Additional support for video analytics with minimal effort: after adding a camera to the system configuration, the “video analytics” tab will be available, if at least one camera analytics module is integrated into this camera in the Global Cortex system.
Work without constraints: some projects may require the use of specific analytics modules, which may not be implemented in the Global Cortex system yet, but can be incorporated into certain camera models.
The possibility of integration with a specific camera can be clarified with your project manager.
